This is the landing screen for the Lost City mobile app I designed as part of my senior design thesis.

The app uses user generated content to create a map of a city, focusing on the "secret" or "lost" natural locations. These can be a unusually quiet part of the park, or a hidden garden in a back alley. 

The app maps locations near to the user, and they can check them out, or the app can send a notification telling them they are near a spot.

The camera function includes a GPS location, and a brief description of the location, so that others may find it, rate it, and it can become a popular nature location in a city.

I created the idea, and created the app design, as well as the accompanying website.

This is a website designed to work with the Lost City App. The aim was to provide the user with the same level of interactiveness that the App achieved.

It is entirely coded using HTML and CSS

This is an app designed with the prompt, "fix something that bothers you." For the assignment, we wanted to fix the problem of having to ask roommates to clean.

Sweepmate is a mobile app that divvies up chores among roommates, and rather than have a person to person, possible awkward interaction, the app kindly reminds people when it's time to work. 

This is the roommate screen. We wanted an overall very colorful, while still clean look to the app.

We wanted the function to not be impeded by simplicity in design.

This screen shows the chores that have to be completed during the week. Each is given a score, and the total points are divided among the roommates evenly.

This is the app sending a roommate a reminder that it is time to get that work done. We wanted this part of the app to have a more human and sassy feel. 

This message would change constantly so that it sounds as though someone is really hounding you to get work done.

For this project, I was in charge of designing the logo, branding, and app.
